- Jason Roberts Added May 21, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★Booked this on the off chance as part of a road trip and have to say I was truly stunned by the beauty of the guest house. Steve (the owner) met us on arrival and made us truly welcome. Try out the Alpine Hotel for dinner, just down the road, but you definitely have to have breakfast with Steve...amazing eggs from the chickens in the garden (we had them scrambled...the eggs not the chickens!) and they tasted fantastic. Great place to visit and worth staying here if you are looking for a intimate location (as it's off the main streets). A real gem at the gateway to the Snowy Mountains.
